David and Pascoe were exceptional hosts. Room number 3 was large ,homely,with attention to detail. Nice balcony opposite the sea. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast.The full English was exceptionally cooked. Before that,lovely choice of cereals,yoghurt ,fresh fruit ,juices. All was presented well and table service was excellent. There is also a comfortable lounge with TV for guests to use if they wish,and also a patio area at the front opposite the sea. Both of these places had very comfortable seating,spotlessly clean and homely. The whole place is a gem by the seaside. There is great attention to detail,and very welcoming. When we left we said we were sure to come back next year. Cannot recommend this place enough. It will not disappoint.

• Location – Just across the road from the sea, close to shops, and a short walk to restaurants. • Breakfast – An amazing selection; the cooked breakfast was top-notch. • Hospitality – The hosts were pleasant, helpful, and extremely friendly and attentive. • Room – Equipped with everything you might need during your stay: tea and coffee, towels, hair dryer, comfortable bed, chair, ideal room temperature. I especially loved the blinds and the décor. • Outdoor and lounge areas – Comfortable and inviting; a great place to sit and relax after a long day of sightseeing. • Overall – Aesthetic and pleasant location. • Weather – Absolutely immaculate during our stay. • Transport – The Bus 99 stop is just a few meters from the property. It conveniently connects to Hastings, Eastbourne train station, the pier, and more.

Cosy room with extra blankets & cushions if wanted. Tissues were handy and the little sweets were a nice touch! Long mirror on the wardrobe , dressing gown & hairdryer if needed were all there , not forgetting to mention the good hot drink selection. The room refreshed the following morning. Lovely hot breakfast and lots of choice of cold things to have as an help yourself if wanted. Nice filtered coffee. Warm & welcoming staff. Thanks Guys!

What an incredible place to stay. The host was very welcoming and exceptionally helpful. There was a great choice of cooked breakfast options including scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. We had a front room, I think it was room three which was large with a bay window and a great view out the window. There were several free parking bays over the road which we used. You can't reserve them. The room was spotlessly clean and the whole lodge was beautifully decorated. Thanks for a great stay. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Very good value B&B located on the seafront by the Redoubt fortress. Nicely decorated lounge and breakfast room and great looking front garden area. Host was pleasant and helpful and showed me to a small room, which was ok for 1 short overnight stay, and explained a few bits. Kettle for tea, coffee and biccies in the room. Breakfast was good, with a decent cold selection but you can order a cooked breakfast in advance, and I was pleasantly surprised by being given toast unprompted. The lodge is at the eastern end of the promenade where I don't usually stay, but it turned out to be ok, with a small cafe and also restaurant on the seafront and 10 min walk to centre. I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Ebor Lodge, a charming B&B ideally located right opposite the beach. Pascal and David were outstanding hosts – warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our visit. Our room (Room 3) was beautifully kept and featured a lovely balcony, perfect for enjoying the sea air. Breakfast was excellent, with a generous buffet selection and the option to pre-order a delicious cooked breakfast. Everything about our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend Ebor Lodge to anyone visiting the area.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Ebor lodge and I wouldnt stay anywhere else while visiting family in Eastbourne. The room is very clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast in the morning is plentiful.. there is a cold buffet of juices/cereal/fruit/pastries etc and the night before you choose what you would like for hot food... I always choose the scrambled egg and salmon on toast.. delicious. You always get a warm welcome when you arrive and leave and someone is always available if needed. 10/10 again Ebor Lodge

Everything!! From the first warm & friendly welcome from David. Ebor Lodge is delightful, situated perfectly on the seafront. It is spotlessly clean & all amenities fully catered for. With the added bonus of free on street car parking. It is also close to coffee shops & restaurants. Our bedroom was superb, warm, spacious & comfortable with a large panoramic bay window & balcony with sea views. Extremely comfortable bed large bed with soft fresh linen, fresh fluffy towels & nice toiletries. A wide choice of breakfast available & freshly prepared or cooked by Pascal, it was delicious. Ebor Lodge will be a firm favourite stop off for us in Eastbourne & we look forward to returning soon & can recommend highly, you will not be disappointed. This gem of a B&B was fabulous! We wished we were staying longer than 1 night. Everything is spotlessly clean, anything you could possibly need has been thought about. This place is such good value for money! David was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know. Finally, the breakfast was 10/10! I have been lucky enough to stay in some 5 star hotels and I have to say, my cooked breakfast was far superior! Thank you for such a lovely stay 😁

Loved the clear description on booking.com which was very honest. Beautiful accommodation inside and out, well maintained. Warm welcome, home from home. Facilities has everything you need from coffee/tea, toiletries and a very comfortable bed along with pillows, peaceful too. Breakfast was well organised, quality ingredients and well presented, very much enjoyed and needed for the busy day ahead moving an elderly relative to a new location. Thank you for your hospitality, Hope to visit in near future, absolute asset to Eastbourne!
